In addition, come down to the Shipwreck in West Seattle for the Sunday "creamy" jam! Many great players improvising and having a blast! Cl2amick on the word for directions! Starts @9 and ends @2am!

Hello! Having returned from numerous weeks of crazy touring, I am ready to start playing, teaching, and sitting in! From this point forward I want to keep you all up to date regarding my musical exploits! Alaska was incredible! I caught a beautiful 9 pound Coho salmon AND ate it that day!

How is this possible? Two of my favorite bassists on one day and staying in the same hotel as myself. A conspiracy is afoot. After two days with not a hint of a wink, we finally arrived in Perm. Lovely city. Much of the original 18th century architecture has been preserved, either because the city was never bombed, or the merchants of concrete (the Soviets) decided to pour their gargantuan concrete bunkers in other parts of their sprawling empire.
I bumped into Laswell, or Billy as I call him, and the distant echoes of the Naked City and spare sounds of old Cuba filled the air between my ears. The lobby was sweaty, and Billy was a bit pissy, but perhaps his muse was speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear: "get the hell out of my face," it said.
In contrast to MC Billy "get the hell out of my face," was the suprise of seeing a tall, bald man in the breakfast room of the hotel. Holy crap that is Tony Levin. A sweet, affable man, Mr. Levin was a pleasure to speak to. Very kind man. Little me was shy, but big me invited him to our show this afternoon.
Rubbing extremities with the grizzled and velveteen artists. What fun.

A van is picking us up at 3:30 am tomorrow morning. Painful. Aaron Ficca (Macy Gray), Eric McFadden (George Clinton, P-Funk etc...), Omar Torrez (Tom Waits) and I (just little I... no ringing endorsements or rock star tattoos... just I)  are eating our own guts after a solid week of rehearsals and great Mexican food.
Here is the plan:
Three or four shows in Moscow, two shows in St. Petersburg, one in Perm, and a few other places I am not supposed to tell you about because they are a BIG secret. The most recent performance to be piled upon us is in Riga, Latvia where we play with the great Russian band Mumiy Troll (we even get to ride first class in their private jet...heh heh). What fun!
I will try my best to keep you posted. Cheers.

I am on my way to Russia with the Fabulous Omar Torrez and the amazing Eric McFadden (with a drummer to be named)! Our first stop is in Perm, then on to Moscow, two shows in St. Petersburg, and many more on the dock.

Hello friends!
I am performing tonight at the Triple Door Musiquarium with an OLD friend: Paul Benoit! We start at 9pm and quit at midnight. And...it is FREE! Hope to see you there for some sweet music and bluesy groovy action!

I am now, officially, Tigedecoster.com. Yes. Breath. For all of you CrAzY web crawlers out there: the Musical Instrument Repair Collective also has a new address:
gtowncollective.com!

Eric Apoe is a strange, strange man. Throughout the time I have known him, he has managed to suprise and mystify me. Hopefully he will do the same thing to you. We are playing at the Musicquarium: the front room of the Triple Door. FREE!!!! 7pm

This is what I have talked about for years...because I ripped off Victor Wooten!

Some years ago, Paul Benoit and I inadvertently switched boxer shorts. It was disgusting; we are scarred. But, Paul is an excellent songwriter and I am pleased be on his next record. We start recording next week!
